Ding Dong!
Hello,
Ding Dong ... is no sound ... that's the name a "Hamlet" with a few houses here on the Penwith peninsula ... Where do you live? ... In Ding Dong ... ;-)
Monday was like a spring day, we were in Falmouth and have taken a stroll through town ... Unfortunately, many shops were closed ... this is the "string and renovation phenomenon" that we see here in Cornwall at present. Since the people survived the mid-January "Winter Blues" emphasize and renovate all of its stores in order to start the season, everything looks nice again. What is striking is that this is done without any hint of hassle!
As it is almost always fine to 18.00 clock, Jeremy can during the week to pursue his passion for fishing ... unfortunately no fish has bitten ...
for Saturday was the home of the "Arts Club" announced a big flea market ... well, St. Ives is just not .... Freiburg 10 flea market stalls was more of a very small market ..... Afterwards, the guys in the port to "dig" gone, Tine and I went before it, to look at a few shops in the "Fore Street" on the inside.
Sunday: Today was our goal the Bay of Lamorna. From there we hiked to the lighthouse "Tater-du." A piece of the coastal path ... Unfortunately you can not go directly to the lighthouse so we have something placed above a break and our "snack" eaten ... "Vespers," as it were, with a view, ...
Back at the parking Jeremy has fished from the pier of a little .. but unfortunately has again taken the bait and no fish ... but we must not starve!
Best regards and wish you a great week the SCHMITTIs!
